As you walk, you’ll be able to restore your own virtual peatland and populate it with bog-loving species.
On some trails you can even drive a virtual excavator in AR to create virtual peat dams!
How to use the appUse the map or trails list to choose the trail you’d like to follow and download it.Once you’ve downloaded your trail, head over there to start exploring.
Once you’re there, start walking and Bog Dog will notify you when you’ve reached a point of interest, or if you’ve unlocked a restoration stage for your own virtual peatland.Some sites have AR zones where you can have a go at creating your own peat dams with a virtual excavator – look for the AR zones on the map to find out where they are.
